Friends
People we're glad to know. Remember blogrolls? This is one — a list of other people's websites that we like and send people toward.
Linking out costs us nothing and it's how the web was built: a page that only points back at itself isn't much of a web. This page is part of the /friends directory at slashfriends.org.
The list
Some we work alongside. Some we only know by their work. Either way, we'd send someone we love to them.
Berry Best Phlebotomy Training, LLC
Phlebotomy school · Tucson, AZ
Kelly Ellsberry's fast-track lab tech academy here in Tucson. Our whole trade depends on people being trained properly before anyone hands them a needle, and hers is the program we'd point someone to.
berrybestlabtechtraining.comQuick Test Health Services of Tucson
Walk-in lab · Tucson, AZ
Same-day walk-in testing without a doctor's order — drug screens, breath alcohol, TB, occupational health. They do in a storefront what we do at your kitchen table, and they do it well.
quicktesttucson.comDr. Amanda Bacchus-Morris & Dr. Gerald Morris
AMG Medical · Functional primary care · Tucson, AZ
A husband-and-wife pair of physicians practicing in Tucson since 2011, taking a whole-person, root-cause approach to primary care rather than chasing symptoms one at a time. Good people to know, and good people to be a patient of.
amgmedicaltucson.comOrder your own lab work online
Direct-to-consumer lab testing since 2002. You pick the panel, they provide the referral, no doctor's visit first. One of the genuinely useful corners of the health internet.
requestatest.comFounder of slashfriends.org
The reason this page exists. He keeps the directory of /friends pages at slashfriends.org, and he's right that the web is better with friends — and that anyone with a website should have one of these.
